24-year-old Belarusian woman who fought for the Ukrainian Armed Forces died in battles near Bakhmut

24-year-old Belarusian Maria Zaitseva died in the war in Ukraine.

The girl was seriously wounded during protests in Minsk in 2020, underwent several operations in Belarus, and then received treatment in the Czech Republic.

After the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, the girl joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to Nasha Niva, she fought as part of the 2nd International and died near Bakhmut. Just yesterday she turned 24, this morning she died.
