I think my own parents have made dua against my ambition

Long story short, I want to get into one industry which is completely halal no problem, but the issue is my mother do not see any value in that industry and says that it’s not going to be good for you. I have tried reasoning with her and yet nothing. Since graduating from semi-good university I have not had any luck with the jobs. I know that mothers duas are always accepted by Allah, and whilst I don’t wish anything bad upon my parents I just hate the fact that as a man they micromanage every thing in my life. What are some duas I can do so that I will get in the industry that I really want for the job?
