one and done or no?

Hi this will be long post. please be nice. i am going through a lot mentally. i have an almost 25 month old and I wanted to know whats a good time to start trying again? my husband wants to wait another year like until our son is 3 to start trying but im against it because i dont want that much of an age gap. like then my kids won’t even be in school together. i want atleast a 3 year age gap so they are closer in age will bond well together and my son will be in preschool soon. how do i touch this topic with my husband? its constantly on my mind that i would love to be pregnant with our second rn. i feel like if i just agree with my husband i won’t want another kid now because there’s a prolong age gap. please be kind and give me genuine advice.
