what’s up with people getting mass downvoted?

I’ve noticed for a couple of weeks now that some people’s comments (and posts) are being downvoted for no apparent reason. The downvoted comments are normally nice and not creepy. And there’s nothing sexual about the posts.

I also notice it’s mostly under muslim women’s posts, although I’m sure it’s happening to everyone. Are people not in this sub actively coming here to downvote modest women, or are people in the sub doing this.

I’m not trying to start drama and I hope this is allowed. I think it’s relevant.

I’m just curious if other people have noticed. And if you’re the person downvoting everything why?
