How to join custom Minecraft servers on the original Xbox One!?

Me and my brother are trying to play together on a server hosted on a computer. The xBox account has the Game Pass and we followed a tutorial on changing the advanced network settings to allow it to connect to a custom server but all we are getting is the default servers with no option to join anything else.

We changed the DNS settings but that seemed to change nothing, please help!
