How does Ben not know his church’s stance on homosexuality?

If your church is a very important part of your life and identity, you know what their values and principles are. I am a Christian and when I was around 15 I was going to a church that I loved until they did a sermon that was very pro life and homophobic so I left.

He is just so blasé and I appreciate that Sara says she is principled but she always accepts his first, very weak answer.
