What's your opinion on superhero movies and a lot of blockbuster movies not being considered "real cinema"?

A lot of Oscar voters and film critics don't really consider superhero movies, horror movies, and big blockbusters "real cinema" unless they do something different with the genre—like The New Presence film, LoganJokerAlien, etc. But a lot of the time, the only movies that get nominated and are considered "real cinema" tend to be period pieces, biopics, war movies, dramas, melodramas, romances, narrative-driven films, and epics. Why is this?
