Anyone else disappointed by the Burning Kingdoms Trilogy?

Don't get me wrong, burning kingdoms by Tasha Suri had gorgeous writing and a lush world. I enjoyed it for that, I gave the first two books 4 stars and the last book 3.5. So it's not that I disliked it. But i didn't like the romance as much. I just don't think Malini and Priya had much to offer eachother or could make eachother better people in any way. i didn't feel much chemistry between them. I didn't connect with any of the characters either (Except Buhmika, she was my girl). sorry about the complaining, did anyone else feel this way?
