How long would it take to remove with last?

About 3 months ago I got a half sleeve tattoo and I hate the way the artist ended it off (circled area), as he explained it very different to how he did it I also told him and when I realised it was too late. The rest of the sleeve looks amazing though so I just wanted to know how long this would take to remove or at least fade enough for a cover up/redesign.
