5 months into Kickboxing - High kicks struggle.

29M, I started kickboxing 5 months ago.

I feel like my technique has improved a lot, but my defense is still horrible.

The thing that bothers me the most is not knowing to defend or counterattacking high kicks. My kicks are still weak because I can't raise my leg much yet. I'm 'afraid' of high kicks and I still shrink a lot in my defense. It's been a very pleasant journey, although on sparing days I'll leave feeling all frazzled.

If you have any advice about on how to defend and how to do high kicks, would be awsome.
