I love KR Revice so much ð
Initially, I wanted to post about why I felt Spanner was Michinaga the second. But right now I am crying my freaking heart out as I am watching KR Revice. I started this show 2 days ago and I just finished episode 48 --- this show is making me so emotional ð ð ð.
I love every fracking character on screen, especially the Igarashi family, and there is nothing that will change my mind. !Ikki and Vice are just so wholesome on screen. Daiji and Kagerou, Sakura and Lovekuv, Papa-san and Mama-san, Genta and Vail...! They are just perfect, perfect, down to the last minute freaking detail. !So tell me why this family cannot have peace? Why does Ikki and Vice continuously have to suffer? I want them to stay together forever. I really do! ððð
I can confidently say that out of the KR series I have watched, Revice > Geats > Gavv >> Gotchard
That's enough ranting for one night. On another note, I love KR Geats, but Gotchard not so much. So am I wrong to think that Michinaga (aka Buffa) was so good in KR Geats that they had to make Spanner (aka Valvarad) to be so similar in the subsequent series?
- An experienced KR (or some sort) introduced to rival the MC
- Mainly wears black, then morphs into purple (Spanner should get a change of wardrobe)
- Acts like a lone wolf
- Prefers using an unconventional blade-ish weapon, that is also purple (Micchy - a chainsaw, Spanner, a literal spanner)
- Is forced to use a power that is similar to the enemy's (Micchy - Jyamoto, Spanner - Gigist's black flames)
- Became a KR because they lost someone to the "hero system" of their worlds (Micchy - Desire Grand Prix, Spanner - Alchemy Association)
- Felt wronged by their "hero system", so tries to oppose it by being the villain
- Feels he has to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders, until MC final-justice-kicks some sense into them
- Always charges head-first into battle the moment he arrives on stage
- Gets one-shot faster than I can say "Henshin", until they get a power-up
