My Jackery system review

I got 30 k system connected I am waiting for a connecting cord to connect the 5000 and 5 extra batteries to the transfer switch which will give me 60 k watts.

I have my heat pump/mini split , and hot water heater connected to the 240 circuit

The other 8 circuits are connected to my refrigerator, front bedroom ,main bedroom , living room , Kitchen 2 bathrooms , and boiler -which is 120 volts .

Jackery has a service that recommends an electrician , but they didn’t have anyone local .

I used my local, electrician , who was totally clueless about how to install the switch and move circuits over

Eventually they figured it out

With the help of another Redditor I figured out the app- Connecting the 5 extra batteries , you daisy chain them together is a pain - as each battery weighs 80 lbs.

The main 5000 weighs 134. You can control individual circuits with the app, change the ups . See how much consumption your house is using - and each individual circuit , Control how charged you keep the 5000.

Jackery support is good, tho they don’t know a lot of technical questions .

The app is a little buggy , with showing percentage left of the system .

I’m very happy with my purchase -,cost 31k plus whatever the electrician charges . I bought 4 of the Jackery 500 solar saga panels - which I haven’t tried out yet.

It is expensive , but with my house usage - did t connect the dryer or the 240 car charger , will use the mini split instead of the boiler

I can go at least a week without power no more sitting in the dark freezing my ass off or sweating Electrical inspection soon
