Tailgate issue

So I’ve had my tailgate opening randomly. I live in Buffalo so it’s pretty icy/snowy right now and I’ve felt the pad on the back get frozen. But I went through the wash today and I actually put a hair dryer on the button and dried it out. Came down to leave and the tailgate was against my garage door again. Anyone have any issues with their tailgate randomly opening?
