For those displaced near the Triangle

From the Durham Museum of Life and Science:

"Our hearts go out to our neighbors in Western North Carolina. As part of our commitment to the community, we’re opening our doors to offer a space to play and decompress. Now, through the end of October, we’re offering free admission to displaced residents of the following North Carolina counties: Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Clay, Cleveland, Gaston, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Transylvania, Watauga, Wilkes, Yancey, and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.

Each adult with proof of residence may bring up to five children.

We hope to provide a place where you can take a break, explore, and feel uplifted."
