Kalluto's gender is up to interpretation

Every time I see a post that even remotely involves Kalluto, there's someone in the comments that refers to her using "she." AND EVERY TIME, there's another guy that goes "that's a boy buddy"

In the 2011 anime, it's 100% up to interpretation. As we've seen with Alluka and Pitou, Togashi's pronouns seem to translate weird. He hasn't given an official statement. Pitou, in the anime and manga, could be female despite being referred to as he, because Togashi ends up drawing her with an obviously feminine body in his art. The 2011 anime producer even confirmed that he is sure Pitou is a girl. Nonetheless, I believe it's still up to interpretation given the use of pronouns.

Based on this, we can see that Togashi just happens to use pronouns that can translate strangely to English. It's never explicitly mentioned that Pitou is a girl, yet through a lot of context clues we can find that interpreting her that way (and as a boy, or nonbinary) can be accurate.

Now on Kalluto. Kalluto is called male, but with the same Japanese pronouns given to Pitou. Sometimes, this shit just happens. And given that Kalluto has an obviously feminine voice, and dresses like a girl, it isn't ridiculous to say that Kalluto could be a girl. It's up to interpretation by the one watching, which honestly is cool and could be intentional by Togashi.

We also don't know Kalluto's situation, hardly at all. She has like 5 minutes of screentime. So until we do, I say it's best to just interpret it how you like.

While I'm here, Alluka is a girl. Those saying she's CANON transgender are just insane. I guess again, it's up to interpretation, but we shouldn't be correcting others when none of us actually know.

edit: Asuka = Alluka, oops

edit: When I say "Those saying she's CANON transgender are just insane." I'm not dissing the interpretation, or saying the possibility isn't there. I'm saying that those who hate on any other possibility because 'their interpretation is the right one' are annoying.
