intersections between house and techno

I'm trying to locate a specific sound and I don't know which producers/DJs to find it with. I'm looking for some techno with intersections of house, and I don't mean Tech-house, as that has a very specific sound. What I'm looking for is some kind of techno that has certain elements of house but doesn't contaminate it or is not completely mixed in, but rather there are details, signs or subtle aspects where I can tell that the intention is to create a mix. Is there such a thing? Thanks!
