Advice For Financing Raw Land
I'm trying to buy land for pasture space mainly, not commerical grazing I just want space to use for horses and goats, maybe pigs , I have no intent to make money from it. I can afford monthly payments, but obviously I don't have +- $100k sitting around so I'd need to finance. I don't think I qualify for agro loans because I have no interest in commercializing my homestead. So:
- How do I get a bank to loan me money when I have no intent of making money off the purchase?
- Is it possible to roll a land loan into my existing mortgage.
- Has anyone ever had any experience cold calling land owners or making offers on land that isn't listed for sale?
