Powerline Ethernet - Worth It?
So, I took everyone's advice and have started making strides to improve my network. I moved my modem into my basement and connected it directly to the coax coming into the house. This eliminated many coax connections (no other devices are using coax anymore).
I then bought a switch and ran Cat6 to as many devices as I could. As a result, my desktop and all TVs are now connected to ethernet instead of wifi (had to upgrade a few roku sticks to accommodate). Most of my remaining wifi devices do not have ethernet connections, so they are what they are. However, I do have a handful of ethernet capable devices in areas of the house that I simply can't run ethernet to.
I have never had major problems with my wifi network, it is generally strong in most areas of the house. Should I just continue to use wifi for the devices I cant run ethernet to or would powerline ethernet be beneficial / something I should look into?
