Port forwarding to external IP address
So basically I want to know if/how it’s possible to forward the traffic coming into a specific port on my home wifi to an external server.
For example, say I’d like all traffic coming in on port 561 to go to an AWS/Azure server outside my home. All the port forwarding content I see is about devices within your home network (e.g. PS5).
Context is that I’d like to setup a home vpn so that I look like I’m connecting from home for my work laptop (they really want WFH to be from home) but I want something easier/simpler then setting up a raspberry Pi or sacrificing an old laptop to run as a VPN server.
