No progress in the quest "A Bird in the Hand - Search for the Snidgets"

Unfortunately, I can complete the "A Bird in the Hand" sidequest, because I was able to dislect the dungeon "The Gilded Perch" beforehand and interact with the pillar. I had been able to solve the puzzle around the door and enter the said dunges. At that time I had no idea that this dungeon should not be entered.

When I later got the quest, all the doors were already open and the enemies were already defeated. I don't get a cut scene nor do I find the snigetch in the room.

It would be great if the dungeon were reseting when accepting the quest, or when you talk to Ponny.
