Finally finished HL2 ep2. How on Earth did I postpone these games all these years? But I have other regrets.

I absolutely loved Half Life 1 with the old school graphics etc, had zero complaints. Then the shift to HL2 with source was gigantic and I loved that too. The story and gameplay is just a higher Tier than the best games I've ever played. It's something else entirely.

But then I saw footage of HL1 remade in Source aka Black Mesa. I must say I regretted not starting with Black Mesa. I think a great part of why Xen was so horrible was because of how it looked. Seeing it in Black Mesa, it looks beautiful and I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I had played Black Mesa instead.

Onto Half Life Alyx on my Quest 2.... I kept postponing it till I had an OLED HMD, but I can't wait any longer.
