If you’re worried about it, no, G-Qux isn’t taking away or preventing a potential G-Witch follow up.

Watching the Gundam Conference G-Qux was announced in reveals that this show has been in the planning since around the same time as G-Witch, perhaps even before.

The way anime is being made has completely changed since even as recent as IBO. G-Witch was always planned as a 25 episode series and that’s exactly what it got. Any potential sequel or follow up to G-Witch would’ve been greenlit after the show aired, which means it’ll take a long while for us to hear about it. What we’re getting now has been in the pipeline for around half a decade, so it’ll take probably as much if not more for any new animated G-Witch content.

There’s still plenty of projects that have been talked about and teased that we haven’t seen anything about yet (00 sequel, Hathaway 2, Udr Hunt, live action movie) and these are what we’ll probably be getting over the next few years.
