Pixel Buds Pro 2 update (release_3.144) – Better sound & ANC improvement?

I just updated my Pixel Buds Pro 2 to release_3.144, and I feel like the sound quality has improved. In Transparency mode, there’s less white noise, which is great. Also, in ANC mode, the sound quality now feels the same as when ANC is off, which wasn’t the case before.

Has anyone else noticed this improvement, or is it just placebo?
