The long road between trailers
This is my first time posting on this subreddit im usually more of an observer. I’m sitting here microwaving my lunch at work just thinking about the unprecedented wait time since trailer 1 and what feels like no light at the end of the tunnel yet.
Practically speaking we all know R*’s new fiscal year will kick off April 1st which will be when there new budget for all their plans kicks in. Reasonably we can probably expect to not see trailer 2 until atleast after April 1st, whenever that will be.
We know R* loves subliminal messages and deeper meanings so the wild and wacky assumptions made about every little thing R* does isn’t at all out of the ordinary. What if this long wait we’ve had to endure ties into the game in some way? Like Lucia’s time in prison. It’s not the first time we’ve had time jumps in R* games. Red dead as an example.
We’re over 460 some days since trailer 1 currently and as we get into April we’ll be coming up on 490 days… 500 days half way through the month. What if that’s the same amount of time where something happens in game and we experience a time jump? Maybe that’s how long Lucia is in prison for she’s bailed out? And rockstar wanted us to feel all that time for ourselves.
I have nothing to substantiate any of it, it’s just food for thought. I guess I’m just trying to come up with a reason why R* would drop trailer 1 as early as they did if they knew they would be leaving us with absolutely nothing more for another almost year and a half.
