How do airbrushed details hold up outdoors?

I recently bought an airbrush for detailing on my fursuits but then later I realised that I use my suits outdoors sometimes. How do airbrushed details hold up in potentially humid weather? Or rain (I won't go out when it rains but the weather is unpredictable here).

Are there any possible ways to weatherproof the paint? mayhaps a type of paint that isn't water based and won't be effected by the weather? Btw I am airbrushing on minky not fuax fur, perhaps that makes a difference or opens doors for more waterproof like opportunities?
