character witnesses?

do you think LM’s defense will bring in character witnesses? we’ve all seen how the media has worked tirelessly to slander his character, to the point where some outlets have even used unconfirmed claims (e.g., “weird episodes in high school,” “lashed out at people”) to paint him in a negative light. it’s laughable because it’s obvious they can’t find anything bad about him. everyone who has spoken about him—friends, former classmates, even teachers—has only had good things to say.

do you think his defense will take this approach? the jury hearing firsthand accounts from people who actually know him rather than the distorted version of the media has portrayed. i’m not too familiar with character witnesses or if they’ve even proved to make a difference is cases like this, so apologies if this is a simple yes or no question😅
