I was already very demotivated but hearing this from a guy who works out in my gym makes me think of quitting gym altogether.

So for the whole 2023 and 2024, I think I've made zero to little progress on anything, My strength is not increasing, for instance I am unable to do any more than 5-6 pull-ups, bench is stuck at a fix weight , had arms around 15in flexed (still same now), I train using PPL right now but have experimented with upper lower as well.

A guy who I know and has been working out for years in the same gym looked at me and said while laughing, Isko to mai 2-3 saal se dekh raha hu vaise ka vaisa hi hai(I've been seeing this guy from 2-3 years and he's still same)

I managed to do around 70g protien previously while being around 75 kg. Now I've started supplementing whey and being more meticulous with diet to get atleast 70-90g.

I trained to total failure on all sets back then but right now I've adopted leaving 1 rep or very close to it rather than beyond failure.

It seems all I''ve accumulated is too much fat around abdomen and it's at 101cm now. Almost all of my fat is around belly and love handles and it looks very bad despite decent arms.

And when I lose some weight my arms and upper body gets smaller Making belly fat look even more prominent.
