Why do dark romance authors use this excuse every time.

These authors do not know the definition of dark romance. They will write the most disgusting gut wrenching stuff and put it in their story and call it “dark romance” like no babes it’s not dark romance its abuse,toxic, and weird and these girls on the episode app will genuinely sit here and eat up like you’re apart of the problem too. These authors will write the most creepy disgusting vile stories ever and people genuinely sit right here and eat it up. When someone calls them out on it they always pull that “It’s dark romance so I don’t know what you expected” Are you guys even real??
