How do you deal with caustic around a titan?

How do you survive the caustic atmosphere without taking damage?

Total AX noob here. Yesterday I tried going for the Titan Cocijo for the first time. I watched cmdr Mechan’s video tutorials on how to fight a titan and picked up the Kraith mk2 equipped for titan bombing and tried to go in solo, like he suggested.

It took me 4 attempts to get the timing for the pulse right, but when i finally did it I didn’t even made it to face Cocijo because my hull got completely destroyed by caustic. I had run out of caustic sinks, and i tried overheating a couple of times on purpose to boil it off… but still it seems there is no way to avoid constant caustic damage.

Watching his videos, it seems people like Mechan are not affected at all by caustic, so what am I missing?
