McGruders
I’m doing a lot of reasearch into derelict/abandoned pubs in Ireland and am now stumbling by Thomas street. This seems the most interesting to me as there’s a large abundance of derelict buildings which once may have been a symbol of happiness and good times. Such as McGruders
Sadly I never got to experience mcgruders myself but I have heard incredible things about it. Al Keegan’s mixed salad, them bizarre Halloween dress ups and robot weddings?!?!? And the beer garden.
Anyways I’m rambling on a bit here, anyone have any information on the current position of McGruders, I recall seeing a planning notice sign on the left hand side when I passed it to go to work? Hopefully not another hotel or apartments right? Anyone know how I can get in touch with its current owners? I would love to see the inside state of it.
