Why do the female/female couples seem better written than the male/male relationships?

I am not including James and Aiden since I wanted to use two examples of each, and I feel their writing as less flaws than the other two couples. Note: I don’t dislike any of the ships, but I do prefer the female ships more, despite being a male. Also
