So with rumors recently flying around that if Carolina can't get an extension done with Mikko Rantanen before the deadline they may be open to trading him. If he's on the block again I doubt he would sign an extension with the next team either before free agency. So the question is would you want dallas to pursue a trade knowing he would most likely be a rental?
