Just picked up this cutie today

Just picked up this cutie today. Was labelled as wire haired by the breeders but I've been told by some people I've shown it to that he's just a short haired, I don't really mind either way I love him all the same but am curious as to what you guys reckon.

My family has a wire haired when I was growing up but I can't exactly remember what he looked like as a puppy, so yeah anyway cheers for any inputs but otherwise just enjoy the photo of the pupper. his name is RJ short for Rufus Junior
