Suggestions on making first time sweater /pattern related 💬

Hello! I've been practicing my crocheting for a month so far. And my main project is to recreate this sweatshirt:

My only concern is making that deep orange accent pattern. I'm not sure if I should divide the two colors and merge them afterwards or introduce the deep orange midway.
