The Cafe Needs Food Bug?

Great game and this is the only glitch I've encountered so far
Sammi is my chef at the cafe and wanted fruit salad for a quest. I tried to give it to him and he said he didn't like it. The quest is still in my journal and I can't give him any more fruit salad :(
