Players really don’t like the idea of retirement on this game.

I’m currently in 2034 as England, Jimmy Anderson played till he was 46 and took well over 900 wickets(alright Anderson retiring at 46 seems pretty reasonable at this point..) Joe Root banged out 22000 test match runs before retiring at 42, Stokes with his knees of dust and gravel made it to age 41, despite me long leaving him behind Jonny Bairstow is still going strong in county cricket at 44, Ollie Robinson is still going at 40…I think the earliest retirement I’ve had is Sam Hain at 38, which actually annoyed me because he’s been the backbone of my ODI side since day 1 and there’s a world cup coming up…but anyway, why do players hate retiring? I’m 90% sure Steve Smith, Kane Williamson and a few others overseas still knocking around domestically too.
