What is all about Amex Referrals

Hi All, Seeing posts related to Amex referral and some points associated with it. Can you please help me out about this. Like I have an Amex SmartEarn CC so, if I give referral to someone then what will be the reward for me and for that person? I am new to Amex (around 15-20Days only since I received the card) Asking because most of my friends reach out to me for Credit Cards ( 1 have 10+ cards) and generally I give them links to apply for the cards. The links are from platform which pays once credit card is approved and activated (I inform my friends about the payout and generally we friends spend the payout on dinner, coffee,etc)
