Charging cards for no-shows?
My wife is a cosmetologist, has been for 2 years now. Since we started dating and getting married, she’s been to a few different salons. She recently started a new booth rent gig and she’s loving it. The only issue is, she’s getting no-show clients like crazy. We’ve never had this issue until this salon. She also has a client with a bad habit of canceling/rescheduling appointments the day before. How do y’all file cards for no shows? Right now her salon’s policy is that the client has to pay the service in full before booking again, but that doesn’t help us if they decide to go to a different salon. Now we’ve just lost money on supplies and a slot for a potential legit client. Thanks in advance!
