Why are liberals worried about price increases after record high inflation during the Biden years?

I have a friend hassling me over text about tomorrow’s tariffs on Canada and Mexico. She rarely brings up politics with me because we don’t agree on anything. But this particular topic seems to have her heated.

But she had zero concerns over the past 4 years.

I also see a lot of talk about egg prices.
