Actual Addictive Behavior

This is an embarrassing post as I am a relatively successful late 30s professional with 3 kids and no significant history of addictive behavior and limited videogame experience, but here it goes ...

Is anyone else concerned about feeling actually addicted to this game? I played a little on my kid's Nintendo Switch, without any DLC, after buying it used for 9 bucks at a gamestop. But ever since the full game became available on my ipad I have started playing at every opportunity, distracting from work and family. I genuinely find it hard to put down, always convincing myself to just play one more turn.

Pathetic, right? Help!
