Not Understanding LGBTQ Disapproval

Atheist here.

So I have a few LGBTQ friends in my circle, and with the cross-pollination between church and state slowly arising in the US, affecting LGBTQ rights, I wanted to know if any devout Christians here have a reason for disapproving of LGBTQ lifestyles BESIDES cryptic Bible verses.

I have no intention of attacking Christianity, as much as I don’t believe in it, but I simply want to hear real justification. I know that many Christian sects are affirming of LGBTQ identifying people, but from those who aren’t from these- what gives? It’s simply a different lifestyle… which harms absolutely nobody, and even fosters love and acceptance in identifying couples.
