Is [BO3] safe on Pc?

So I’ve been playing bo3 for a few years now on Xbox but I recently got a pc, so one of the first games I bought on steam was bo3. I’ve been looking for an answer but there’s a few different opinions. What I wanna do is play custom games with bots only in multiplayer and play online but private zombies. Is it safe for me to do so and/or what is a safe way to do so because I heard of Boii and T7 but I don’t know where to start. Thanks for any help.
