An idea for CVS

Not my original idea, but from a friend of mine who works in a similar business.

Store Managers being on schedule should not count against operational hours.

Any hours a salaried Manager works do not count towards the schedule of hourly employees for the week and allows for more productive staffing.

It looks like pharmacy already does something similar with separating pharmacist and technician hours.

Other companies do this and it allows for for better training of employees, more productivity, and better team cohesion. Of course this does still require a Store Manager to be active in creating a good environment.

The cost would be minimal and allows for a more adaptive work environment with resources to development future leaders.
