my senior boy got diagnosed with “Bicavitary effusion” and i’m struggling with euthanasia decisions
I’ve tried researching ‘Bicavitary effusion’ and the results said that the life expectancy of a cat with the condition is only a few days, but he’s had the symptoms we took him to the vet for for weeks now. He doesn’t seem to be in too much pain but I’m worried he’s just masking it well for myself and the vet.
He’s 15 years old, and I don’t want to put him through the suffering of pills, surgeries, etc at his old age. He’s lost so much weight and I can feel his bones. Euthanasia feels like the most moral thing to do but it’s such a hard decision and I want to know if others think this is the best decision to make.
