Gmk67 Mini review
I've received the gmk67 and before we get into it. No the gmk67 is mot a rip off ek68. The gmk67 is the white label product that epomaker rebrand and sells.
Now onto the info.
The gmk67 comes with a polycarb plate and plate foam and you won't need to pe foam mod it as it comes with some pre installed version albeit with a different foam i am unsure of.
It is made up of 2 parts and clip together and further more it is gasket mounted. The flex is actually impressive considering the £40 price tage
The case is made of some pretty good plastic and there is already some case foam in it that actually does something. 😲. So the case doesn't sound hollow.
To take apart you will need to out your thumb in the inside part if the case and push outwards and increase your force slowly so you don't damage it. do this around the case and pull upwards after you hear a clicking noise.
The Knob is detachable but you can't replace it for a switch. It comes with plate mount stabilisers that are very rattlely and tick alot. The pcb supports screw in stabilisers however the plate is too small to support any that I know of besides akko screw ins.
It has tri mode connectivity through wired Bluetooth and a 2.4ghz dongle. And unlike the ciy68 doesn't use triple a batteries.
Overall if you're looking for a budget board with decent flex, clean zoom65 look, and little to no modding necessary besides this stabilisers this is a very good board.
Ps. I received it this very day and I have only tape moded it with 1 layer of electrical tape. And it has a very creamy sound. electrical tape because I don't want to cause a fire and also its thicker and makes it pop more.
Sound test coming soon with pictures
