Thoughts on the current national tour of Peter Pan?

Hi all! I work at the major theater house in our city so get the benefit of both seeing the shows and seeing everyone else see the shows. Peter Pan is currently in town and I saw it the day after opening- it certainly wasn’t the best I’ve ever seen but I thought it was delightful and well worth the evening. I could go into more detail but overall just a fun time.

That being said, we’ve had 200-300 people leave at intermission every night which has me shocked! The only thing I can think of is maybe they think they’re seeing Disney’s Peter Pan, and ofc the Broadway show is very different. Wanted to see if I was actually in the minority or what the thoughts were of other people who have seen the show!
