Watching Bridgerton Season 2 with Husband

Spoilers: Bridgerton

I'm about 2/3 through Bridgerton, I've been watching it with my husband. Today over lunch, after a bit of thought, he asked me, "do you think the Bridgerton guy is going to get with the older sister?"

This man clearly does not read romance novels. One does not have a sexy horse race at dawn between two strangers in the first scene of a romance-themed series and NOT have them destined for each other!!! Delightful man still wasn't sure who'd end up with whom 2/3s of the way in. We'd basically been watching parallel, but very different tv shows thanks to the differences in our familiarity with romance tropes and interpretations. Made my day
