Was there any time when there were no good upcoming A listers waiting in wing?

When Sridevi was No 1, Madhuri was her challenger.

There was a time when Rani, Preity and Ash were top contenders

Kajol, Karishma , Sonali , Manisha and many others were doing variety of movies

Now….

Kareena / Tabu / Madhuri are doing age appropriate roles

Kat has semi retired and DP is on break

Kangana we know…

Alia has not delivered hit with Jigra and her next Alpha is in one year , Love War is not yet confirmed

Kiara and Shraddha are the only ones doing A list movies

Kriti does good movies, she isn’t considered a box office A lister yet

Tripti, Mrunal , Yami etc are not yet there as full A listers like DP/ Kat

Jhanvi is doing maximum movies and spoiling them all

Sara has fizzled out

Ananya is the only one standing on support from Production houses more and public less

Khushi - Doesn’t look promising and her next movie is supposed to not as good

Suhana - Maybe King can be game changer for her? Nothing looks like she’ll be A lister in 2 years

It’s not a good pool of actresses for next 2 years.
