Times When Louise Goes Too Far?

I’m a huge fan of Louise. To me she is the most developed character in the show and one of the most interesting to watch, but there have been a few times where I feel like she has gone too far. Anyone else agree?

In particular the episode where Bob tries to get into the community garden (S5E10), that one keeps me up at night.

Everyone in the family especially Linda and Louise seem to think that Bob is the selfish one for asking they put up with Logan for a little while so he (Bob) could have a garden plot. Bob asks for and gets so little. It seems like this one thing he should get. Plus it would make sense for Bob to grow some of his own ingredients. But Louise’s hatred of Logan, and Linda’s growing dislike for his mom Cynthia, apparently supersede any small desire Bob may have.

Boy, that bothers me. And by the end of the episode Bob seems to agree with the family that he is being selfish when in reality it is only Louise and Linda inconvenienced by Logan and Cynthia’s presence.

Louise is a wonderful headstrong, confident and dynamic character. We see the family often defer to Louise for advice, despite her position as the youngest family member. Early on it’s established that she likes her own things, her privacy and personal space, and the family respects that, sometimes making concessions of their own just to keep Louise happy. Bob doesn’t even try suggesting Louise give up her room for Teddy (S1E7). When Linda does so anyway, Louise responds predictably with ire, Linda angrily demands Bob do something about Louise, to which Bob shrugs, “Umm… give her back her room?”

Does anyone else feel this way about Louise? Are there times where maybe she goes too far or the family bends and caters to her too much?
