How do you handle family members who believe no one watches BDs and say streaming is everything?

Because i am the only person in my household who watches BDs and recently had an argument with someone over them and says streaming is better and BDs are a waste of money and i should be spending it on other things and that if i buy another BD, she would sell the whole collection. Thoughts?
